My 9 year old and I played this and loved it! When you have a game that is all about helping others to be the winner...it's a win, win. Even after oiling for years, I learned many new uses for the oils. Can't wait to play again with friends and share in my oils classes!

Many new Oilers feel overwhelmed with so much to learn. So glad that Nichols have created a fun game to learn. Whether you are playing by yourself or with friends, you'll quickly learn that you've got an "oil for that."P.S. It's not my opinion, but many studies have shown...Playing to learn: Panelists at Stanford discussion say using games as an educational tool provides opportunities for deeper learning

My team loved this as one of our team gatherings! They learned a lot.

My kids and I enjoyed this game. It is a nice change to bring the family together rather than having a game on cellphone/ app that you play alone without much face to face interaction.

Great and fun way to learn about the oils!
I Have An Oil For That is a 1 to 6 player essential oils board game that helps players learn about the benefits and uses of botanical oils. The object is to eliminate your own Problem Cards, and gain Heart Tokens by helping other players eliminate their Problem Cards.
We wanted to make a game that creates an environment of helping others while being competitive at the same time. So we created the heart token scoring system as a way to achieve that. Players can only get heart tokens by helping other players. The player with the most heart tokens and no problem cards at the end of the game wins. However, everyone benefits because the game will not end until everyone is problem free.

Help Cards
Problem Cards
A player holding a “Cedarwood” Help Card lands on a “P” space and draws a “Cough” Problem Card. They see that “Cedarwood” may be used for “Cough”. They then remove both cards from their hand and place them on the HELP and PROBLEM discard spaces on the game board. Turn now passes to the next player. This can work the opposite way as well, by a player landing on a “H” space and drawing a “Cedarwood” Help Card, then use it to eliminate the “Cough” Problem Card held in that player’s hand.
Game Landing-space Icons
Heart Space - Player can use one of their own Help Cards to help any other player with a Problem Card and gain one Heart Token for doing so. If there are no players to help, then a Heart Token will not be obtained and turn passes to next player.
Help Space - Draw one card from the Help Card stack. Turn the card face up so other players can see the information on it. Can only be used to eliminate one of your own Problem Cards for that turn.
Problem Space - Draw one card from the Problem Card stack. Turn card face up so other players can see the information on it. If available use only one of your Help Cards to eliminate it or pass on your turn.
Star Space - Roll again using two dice instead of one. The die with the highest number will be the number of spaces a player may advance with the extra roll. If both dice match numbers, advance and draw one Help Card as well.
Question Space - Random chance. Spin the spinner wheel that comes with the game board one time. After the spinner stops follow the instructions on the wheel section.
Draw Two Help Cards - Draw two cards from the Help Card stack. Turn the cards face up so other players can see the information on it. Can be used to eliminate two of your Problem Cards for that turn.
Help Two People - Use any two Help Cards to help players eleminate their Problem Cards. Gain a heart token per player that is helped.
Problem Free Zone – A player may enter this space once they have reached start at least one time and have no problem cards in their hand. Landing on this space is the same a Heart Space.
Start – Players must reach Start at least one time without any Problem Cards before proceeding to the Problem Free Zone. Landing on this space is the same as a Heart Space.
